The pizzas came out great at the end and the flatbread we ordered was gone in seconds. There was a mixup about some ingredients on our pizza but after we clarified, the staff made another one and it was nearly as perfect as a pizza could get. Our server even offered to comp our drinks for the inconvenience, which he did not have to do, and overall we had an excellent time. That is what good service is-- correcting any mistakes as soon as possible to make sure the customer gets what they're paying for. Will definitely be coming back here again

I don't usually review chain restaurants but this was an exception. Spin usually has dependably good pizza. This location, however, has great service and salad, but when you come to a Neopolitan pizza place, you want Neopolitan pizza, and these guys totally dropped the ball. I ordered a classic margherita and toppings aside, the crust wasn't a far cd from Pizza Hut. Neopolitan is supposed to be paper thin and chewy, not semi thin and crackery. Fail.

So.. obsession. Big, crazy, obsession. It took me a long time to FINALLY get around to trying Spin, and that is what this is. I have found my favorite pizza to be the Margherita (sp??) with proscuitto. (sp again? HELL) - anyway, that, and their 8 color salad, absolutely amazing. Their gelato is great too - a little over priced for the serving, but tasty none the less. Service has been wonderful, just wish the place was bigger - it gets PACKED at lunch.

I ordered the roast beef sandwich, a cup of tomato basil soup, and a drink at the counter for a total of about $12 before my e-club discount. My order was delivered to my table with a smile in about four minutes. The sandwich had tasty, crunchy bread, lean meat, and fresh toppings. The soup was creamy, and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.

I am an eggplant fan. Most places ruin it with a bunch of breading. This was perfect. Had the Greek salad as well. Best part: they sponsor a ride on Monday nights at 6:30.

OK after many KC Restaurant week enjoyments, I think we unwrapped one more of the hidden nuggets of this event! The dinner restaurant week price is for a COUPLE! Three courses, wine for each dinner and dessert...$35 (couple) to support a great cause??? Unbeatable!!!! Your choice of salads. Your choice of pizza's the size of a dinner plate (at least at Olathe location) an 8-oz glass of premium vino, and a helping of your choice of Gelatto's (with a cookie) will send you home happy!!! (If you like pistachio's get THAT gelatto!! Superb! My wife had the Mackinac Island Fudge--packed with fudge! I prefer the 'Tres Carne' pizza which is a meat lover's dream, but you may choose from any variety. My salad choice favors the 'Sonoma' which features blue cheese crumbles and thinly sliced granny smith apples, and if you go...pray that there is some of the coveted Pistachio Gelatto!! (Told you twice now!!) A great time. Wonderful servers. Excellent food and fine wine, to benefit a great cause. What's not to like!!!

A solid 3.5 stars, but I'm in a generous mood today so....4 stars! Yay! I don't quite understand the terrible ordering system at SPIN. If you're going to have wait staff who are well-trained and do a great job of greeting customers quickly once they're seated, can't they take an extra two minutes to grab orders from their tables? You can even provide some sort of brain-not-required ordering sheets customers can fill out themselves and stick on a pole of some sort at the table to indicate when they're ready for it to be picked up. It just seems odd that there's always this huge line waiting for one lonely person working the register to take orders. It seems to create an artificial bottleneck that doesn't seem helpful to customers. So this is why, if there were half stars, they would not get 4 stars from me. But having said that, SPIN! is otherwise a pretty cool place. They have some pretty tasty salads and lots of options for pizzas including non-dairy cheeses, whole wheat or gluten-free crusts and interesting toppings. Every now and then, the kitchen sends out a pizza that is slightly over-cooked or slightly under-cooked, but mostly, the pizzas are pretty darn tasty. Despite my grumpiness about the ridiculous ordering system at SPIN!, the staff at this location are always helpful, speedy and good at their jobs. They also picked a great location. The hubs and I tend to stop here every now and again whilst running errands around the 119th and Metcalf area.

Its kind of hard rating SPIN! as I've been here often, but more or less because someone else wanted to go and I was offered a meal. It's decent, but none of the pizza ever really made me jump up and get happy. The paninis weren't anything to write home about...and well, it all seemed kinda 'chalky' in texture. This isn't to say it's bad...just unexpected to me, I guess. It's a decent meal at a decent price, but nothing I'm too interested in. Going there is still something you should do, its basically up to you on how you like the flavors as they do everything right.

Spin really out-does it's fast casual competitors. They have a solid selection of pizzas, salads and sandwiches. This place has almost (....okay not really) made me a gluten-free believer. The gluten-free crust here is dabomb.com . Huge fan of the mushroom and sausage pizzas. Wish this place sold its blood orange salad dressing, too. The stuff could make a bed of grass taste good. One thing I am not a huge fan of: if you choose to top your salad with chicken, it comes as tasteless, shredded chicken. I just find myself picking the chicken out, bitter and regretting the $1.95 that sits on the edge of my salad bowl.

Man, I remember that I wrote a review for the Plaza location and kind of beat them up for not having inspired options. It's almost like I have a grudge against Spin but I promise - I don't. I want to really like them. They have a number of locations, the staff is friendly, it's a comfortable place to visit, they have a varied menu with lots of different types of ingredients. Seems like a win but I feel like there's something missing. Consistency may be one of them. On my most recent visit, the pizza was over-cooked. It's probably always going to be better than the chain pizza places but to compete in the Pizza Bella, Art of Pizza, Waldo Pizza circle, they'll have to work out some identity crisis. Do you want to be big, or do you want to be great?

Spin! is one of the best pizza joints in Kansas City, offering creative but delicious pizzas and salads you won't find at any other restaurant in the area. It's fast casual restaurant (your order at the front and your meal is brought to your table), and a great place to snag a fast lunch or meet up with friends. Along with great pizzas and salads they offer sandwiches and gelato as well as a pretty decent beer and wine menu. My go-to is the Salisicca Con Mela pizza with glazed pecans, Italian sausage, and apples. I also recommend the Sonoma salad; the Blood Orange Vinaigrette makes red leaf lettuce taste like a dessert.

I honestly would eat any kind of pizza from Chicago's top tier deep dish pizzas to the Chinese buffet pizzas. I think it's an obsession, but I'd like to say I know what is good and what is not. As for SPIN pizza, it's not the best but definitely not the worst! If you have a sudden pizza craving and SPIN is right around the corner, I wouldn't mind recommending it. SPIN restaurants are fast casual restaurants where you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. It's pretty quick and easy with friendly staff. Their menu isn't difficult either; from soups, salads, pizza, and gelato, SPIN is a pizza joint with a modern feel. Overall I like the taste of their pizzas. They have a tendency of overcooking the pizza. I personally feel that they leave the pizza in the over a minute or two longer than it should be as there are some slightly burnt edges of the crust. I don't mind it too much because I actually like the taste of burnt things (I am hoping someone out there has the same weird palate as I do). I do wish that they added a little bit more sauce on their pizzas because the pizza dough can mask the taste a bit. I would say that the best tasting pizza I had was their pesto chicken pizza. Their restaurant week menu of $15 consisted of an 8" mini pizza, choice of salad or soup, a fountain drink, and a small gelato. It was definitely a deal that anyone should take advantage of. Their gelato wasn't too shabby either. I tried the pumpkin cheesecake gelato and it was delicious!

I love the Main Street location and just had our third disappointing visit to this location. My kids, who usually don't notice the service, even commented. Each meal came at least 5 minutes apart. The flatbread for the soup (which came first) came last at least 20 minutes later. Sent back the cold soup and waited even longer. My daughter had to get up and find someone for more salad dressing. The place wasn't even crowded. We were only asked once if we needed anything else.

Full Disclosure: I usually order the pizza as take out, but I am there to pick it up before it is ready. I have found that quality of the pizza can vary. I have had some good (hot, reasonable amount of toppings for the $) pizzas and some not so good (cold (I suspect it sits wihile I wait), toppings sparce at best). Whith the right stone and dough recipe, I can make better at home. I want a pizza that is better than I can make at home. The salads are pretty good. The pannins are fair. They get your order right 88% of the time if you carry out but I have come up short a few times, and I tip even when I carry out (I have to re-think that policy about 22% of the time). Ultimately the food is OK and there are times when it seems overpriced. I carry out anymore only when I am too lazy to cook at home.

My visit visit was a pretty good one. I got the pizza and salad combo. I got the Pesto Pizza and the 8 color salad. The 8 color salad was nothing special but I enjoyed the Pesto Pizza. I don't always love pesto but this one was mild and more of a combination of pesto and spinach. My friend got the veggie pizza which did not have a ton of flavor. But her salad, the Sonoma, was better than mine. The service was fast. The server who explained how the menu worked was great and gave many good suggestions. The food came out quickly and hot. Look forward to visiting here on a warm spring day to enjoy their outdoor patio.

Spin is in my families regular rotation, solid pizza, salads, gelato and great that they offer $0 corkage during the week for BYOB.

If you are having a pizza craving - find a SPIN location. Love the arugula salad - it is fresh with a small amount of shaved parmesan and a light dressing so that the flavors shine. You can't go wrong with any pizza. I like the lighter Primavera on wheat crust. You can order a 12" and eat half and not feel too guilty.

Smallish location across from the Sprint campus is always packed for lunch, and always serves up good food. Crispy thin crust pizza, great toppings, and a bunch of different salads on the menu, every one of them delicious. Seating is not very comfortable -- you're packed like sardines, and there's no bar. Noisy location is not the best for conversation. I often like to get a small salad & a small gelato for lunch, which is plenty for me (admittedly, not a big eater) -- great eats for under $10. Last time, they were slammed & lost my order, but as soon as I brought it to the hostess' attention, she sprang into action & got my salad out to me immediately & apologized profusely & gave me a coupon for next time & just generally made things right. Hey, mistakes happen, but they redeemed themselves magnificently. There's a small patio on the side for good-weather days, too.

Hmmm, what can I say about Spin that hasn't been said. "I'd like to open my own"? I have been coming to Spin for over 8 years now, and it has never let me down. Their Pizzas (all of them), their salads (all of them), and their sandwiches are ALL excellent!! So now that the most important part is out of the way, the other things are good too. Very nice ambiance which has been maintained over the years, friendly staff, and the quality of the food that is always consistently good. This is one of those places where you wish they wouldn't change a thing, I am glad they haven't. Spin remains one of my first meals every time I come to OP.

My wife and I visited SPIN for our date night. This was our first visit. I had the goat cheese, chicken, with whole wheat crust and it was the best tasting pizza I've ever had! The goat cheese was just amazing. The set up of this place however is the biggest mess I've ever witnessed. Apparently you have to order before you sit down which means you better know the menu and we didn't. We felt like tourist in a foreign country. If you sit before ordering the waiters don't know you're here apparently. We entered through a side entrance, but there was no way of knowing that especially since the door under the SPIN sign.. It's loud so it's hard to have a conversation. They have Gellato!! If we visit again we might have a better experience but our first was a hassle. Enter at your own risk for you newbies...

Yes pizza. The pizza is good as all Spin Pizza is good. I knocked down a star for this one because the building it small and tight and the strip mall it is in is kind of broken down. So that kind of takes away from wanting to go to this paticular Spin, especially when there are other Spins a few miles away. But the pizza is still really good.

SPIN deserves every bit of 4 stars. We ate this on our recent trip to Kansas City & were really impressed. I love the variety of unique toppings - feta, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, artichokes, etc. The crust is really tasty, thin-ish, but not St. Louis style - there's actually still a crust. I had the Greco with red peppers, kalamata olives, spinach and feta. I definitely preferred it over the meat laden pizza that was also ordered (but, it too was excellent). I really appreciate their option of whole wheat crust HOWEVER they failed to give me that, despite the fact that it was ordered that way & paid for ($.50 extra). They have a really tasty gluten free crust as well. We did have some issues with our order & I'm told that's pretty typical here, which is why I totally agree with the 4 stars here. There's still room to improve.

One of our favorite places to stop in for a fast casual meal. Spin Club Members get great perks/points. I usually get the Mini Mia which is any salad and small pizza. I love the spinach salad!

I'm torn about how I feel about this place. On the one had it's a quick walk away from my place and has gluten free pizza crust, and on the other hand (like other's have said) the set up of the restaurant is inefficient at best. So first off, the food was fairly good - I was here with a few friends and we ordered a variety of things (most of which I can't remember). I had the Prosciutto E Spinaci pizza on a gluten free crust. While good, to be honest the taste wasn't worth the cost. Additionally, drink selection beyond the basic and standard drinks at a restaurant...not very impressive given there didn't appear to be a large selection of wines. Now to the set up....utterly inefficient. Unless you know the menu...there is no way to try and decide what you want. In fact for the prices and the ambiance of this place, why do we have to stand in line to order like we do at any fast food place?? Seriously. Furthermore, nearly impossible to figure out where the door is, we wandered over and had to figure all this out about 30 minutes prior to closing. Finally, the food actually sat at the counter until everything was done...now normally that's great, have everyone's food come out together. But letting things cool down because the sandwich was finished before the pizzas...doesn't make much sense to me. Willing to return and give it another shot, mainly becuase they have gluten free crust. Hopefully it'll be a far better experience next time.

The Mini Mia lunch special is where it's at... personal pizza of any flava with a half salad or cup of soup for $8.95? Awesome deal and fantastic food! So many options to try and reasonably priced. I paired the Sonoma Salad which had grapes, apples, oranges, pecans, and goat cheese with blood orange viniagrette. It was perfect in both flavor and size. Then the Cinque Formaggi or 5 Cheese which was also delicious. Ooey gooey with so much cheesiness and the crust was perfectly crisp and not too doughy. I'm a crust girl and incredibly picky about crust. I don't like mush but I don't like cracker-like where there's no flavor or substance to soak up all the toppings. This one was spot on. I was full after half the Mia and the salad and dealt with a serious inner struggle over not eating the other half. I expect it will be just as good for lunch tomorrow. The service/tipping was a little awkward... you pay at the counter and seat yourself, then one person brings the drinks and another brings the food. No one came back after that to refill our glasses or check on us until the very end when we were clearly waiting on a to-go box. So the ambience is classier than a fast food restaurant, but the staff wasn't that attentive, yet the bill is presented dine-in style with a tip line. We left a small tip, but I feel like they should lean one way or the other but that may be personal preference. Also, don't order the patate. That is what I had my first time here almost 2 years ago, and I guess is why I never came back? Potato just doesn't belong on a pizza. I definitely won't be waiting another 2 years before hitting up SPIN! again.

In town for work so needed a quick somewhat healthy bite. This place was a great option. The soup and salad were filling and light. The pizza was not the greatest but still had flavor. The wine options were quick and easy tasty but inexpensive. The place had a good vibe and was very clean

I absolutely LOVE this place! Everyone that works there is so friendly and they are all so good at their jobs. The waiters don't visit the table too much, and they don't disappear all night. I have been there when it's pretty quiet and when it's really busy. They are consistent in their customer service no matter what. I always get the Mini Mia deal, it's amazing! Only 9 bucks for a salad and personal pizza. I love going to this place!

Today was my first visit to Spin. I hope it's not the last! Backstory: After a failed attempt at lunch at a different restaurant, we picked Spin on a whim. Usually when I know I'm going to go to a restaurant I look at the menu online so I know what is available and can plan accordingly. I like to read the entire menu and don't want to waste the time of the wait staff or my fellows diners, so it's just easier for me to be prepared ahead of time. However, due to the fact that it wasn't a planned trip, I didn't get that chance. If you've been there before and are familiar with the menu then ordering from their giant menu probably isn't a big deal. As a first-timer, though, I felt that having to look over the large menu first thing instead of having a menu in front of me at the table was a bit overwhelming. I felt that I was holding up the line (there was only one lady behind me) so I didn't feel that I got to look at everything and make the most informed decision. I panicked and ordered the first two things that I figured would be pleasing. Pepperoni pizza and 1/2 greek salad. Once seated our waitress brought our drinks. Then another young man brought us our salads. I'm a freak for a Greek salad and it had everything I need in a Greek salad. I would have liked more feta and kalamata, but that's because I could live in a house made of feta and kalamata and be a happy camper! I did have to add a touch of salt. Then came the pizza (brought by the previous young man (where is my waitress, though?)). I am not a crust snob. I don't prefer thin over thick, crispy over chewy or any of that jazz. All I ask is that it tastes delicious. And this crust did! It was buttery and crispy and chewy and YAY! The pepperoni slices were huge and the sauce was great, although I would prefer a touch more (no big deal, just a personal preference, coupled with the fact that it was so delicious I would have wanted to lick it from my fingers). At one point the waitress asked me if I wanted a drink refill. I did and she left to get it. Immediately after the previous young man asked me the same thing. I told him that the other girl was getting it and he was off to do something else. Shortly after, he returned to the table and said that he thought she might have forgotten my drink and went to get me a refill. No bigs, but it was tough to know who to turn to when you needed something. I seemed there were so many people. However, they were all really friendly and willing to get whatever you needed, so even though I wasn't sure, I felt safe knowing that someone was around to help. I would love to go back sometime, but I'll look at the menu at home first so I'm better prepared.

SPIN! Has a very good gluten free pizza crust option. It can be done on any pizza. It doesn't taste "gluten free" so even those who aren't trying to avoid gluten will enjoy it. In fact, if you don't tell them it's gluten free, they will probably never know! I've had pizza from here numerous times, and it's always delicious. They have only 1 size of pizza, and they all have a rather thin crust. Don't skip SPIN! just because of the limited options, because the thing they do, they do well. I was disappointed with the side salad I ordered, which was an extremely small portion for the $5 it cost. If I'm not mistaken, lettuce is CHEAP, why not throw a decent salad together? Oh well, I'll stick to their pizza, which is thoroughly enjoyable!

SPIN! really never disappoints. Well, if they do, they acknowledge it and usually give you SPIN! bucks to spend on your next visit...not that this has happened often but I've been given the bucks for things like forgetting a salad on a to go order and having to make it quickly, that sort of thing. Anyway, the food is great, the service is well trained and the atmosphere is...there. My favorite part about SPIN! is actually not their pizza (although those are great too), it's their salads. A friend and I went today and between the 8 Color Salad and the Arugula Salad I couldn't decide. They are both really yummy and so I got 1/2 of each. Odd lunch but very good. This place is growning fast. I think I remember hearing that they are expanding outside KC. They have certainly popped up all over in the past few years. Good service will always guarantee customers.

I love the Mama Mia special with the personal pizza and a salad for $9. I always have the spinach salad which is amazing but change up the pizza every time. Today I had the chicken and goat cheese. It was delicious! I recommend SPIN if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a great pizza/salad lunch or dinner.

This is by far the best Pizza in town for me. Their Mini Mia meal combo is great - with a small salad and personal size pizza. My favorites are the 8 color salad (with buttermilk dressing) and the Fungi Pizza. They have a good selection of wine too. What makes their pizzas so good for me is the fact that they don't have excessive cheeze..their crust is just right and the flavour is perfect. Their service is incredible too. A must go!

I've come to prefer the thick pizzas we have made famous in the United States, but every now and then a thin-crust oven-fired pizza really hits the spot. SPIN is clean, with plenty of salad alternatives for those not pizza-cly inclined, and full of helpful, courteous staff. Oh, and the pizza? A great variety - from old traditional combinations to new and innovative twists.

I took an employee to this Spin! location yesterday for lunch. We meant to get there before 11:30 to avoid the rush, but rolled in around noon. There was a line but they had a couple of cash registers going and another employee was taking orders and directing people to tables, so the wait wasn't too bad. The $8.45 PIzza MIa is a great deal - 6" pizza and a side salad or soup. She had the Margherita Pizza and Greek Salad and I had the Salsiccia (Italian Sausage) Pizza with Carmelized Onions and the Sonoma Salad (Lettuce salad with fruit, goat cheese and glazed pecans. I asked for dressing on the side, because I don't like drenched salads. Everything we had was really good and it was the perfect portion for lunch. The service was good. The food didn't take too terribly long - they were really busy - and we were chatting so I didn't pay too much attention to the wait. We both ordered water and I did have to ask for a refill, but the wait staff did come back to our table a few times to check on us. I would definitely come back here again. Good, fresh food and a fun atmosphere. It is not quiet, so if you want that, take it to go.

Spin pizza - where to start. Menu developed with the assistance of James Beard Award winning Chef Michael Smith. Several locations in the KC area. An agreement reached to open thirty, yes 30, locations in California... ...and the pizza? meh. It is ok. Nothing special. Crust doesn't have a decent char; if you brought some of the pizza to a party I doubt anyone would know it was cooked by an open flame The toppings are nothing to write home about, although I do think the Italian Sausage was made in-house (as I'm sure other things are. Possibly most things). The sauce tasted basically like crushed tomatoes with no additions, which is fine, but is something anyone can do. Spin just doesn't do it for me.

This place has delicious food, especially for someone who is being health-conscious. Look at their nutritional information that is posted online for some guidance--their food is VERY weight-watchers accessible. The staff is extremely nice and efficient. This is the only location I have been to so far, but will certainly try others. A caveat- if you're looking for unruly-child-free dining, this is not the place for you. I suggest carry out.

I visited there with a friend of mine. Both of us had a hard time finding it. I'm going to make it clear, right now, the location. It's behind Cheesecake Factory on 119th street, almost adjacent to the Whole Food's Market. We went in, and ordered from the menu which is painted on the wall. Sometimes I find this awkward, cause I worry about the people behind me, wanting to order theirs too. There's a couple of other restaurants that do the same thing. He had a salad. I hadn't eaten, so I had the mozzarella cheese, tomato panini, and Bud lights. There was a sign that said "Wait to be Seated," but they had us seat ourselves. I like Spin Pizza. No complaints. The Panini was cooked to where I could stretch the cheese, I imagine, across the entire table, from my mouth. Though that wouldn't look so cool, so I didn't do it. The panini bread had grill marks, which I look for, from the panini press. It passed. The chips were fresh, and crispy. My friend had salad which he enjoyed. Our beers were served with glasses, and they also bought out a glass of water. Our waiter was not too attentive, just right. I have no problems with Spin Pizza, but I wish they let us have a menu, instead of reading from the wall. I think there are takeout menus, but that's an entirely different situation. The Industrial interior is eye catching and the restaurant is comfortable, and not too loud. Nice place. When I go out that way again, I'll visit it. I want to try some of their wine.

headed here for lunch on Monday with my 14-month-old to meet up with a friend. she's a regular so she helped me navigate through the menu, which can be a bit overwhelming because everything looks incredible. I ordered the pizza mia, which is a small pizza (chicken and goat cheese) with a side salad (spinach) or cup of soup. ordered the cheese pizza kids meal for my little guy. my friend and I were deep in conversation and enjoying our food that we almost forgot my little guy was sitting next to me just eating his pizza and smiling. needless to say, nothing ended up on the floor. we're saving the gelato token (part of the kid's meal) for our next visit, which will be soon!

I am a thin crust pizza fan. I would prefer not to eat pizza at all if it's not thin crust. Unless it's stuffed, then that's a whole other topic. SPIN!'s crust is crispy but not burned and well flavored. I usually get the same thing - Pizza Mia (Pizza and salad/soup combo). The Cipolla e Chevre (roasted and caramelized onions, goat cheese topping fig jam) with the BLT salad or Greek Salad. I almost didn't give them four stars......are they against people having water as their main beverage? Several times I have to hunt down someone to get a refill on my water but people at other tables have instant refills of tea and/or soda. This isn't just one time but every time and 3 out of the 4 locations as well. Other than my water rant, SPIN! is speedy and good for lunch. Their pizza and salads have so much flavor. Again, other than the lack of refills on water, SPIN! has interesting pizza combinations, is reasonably priced and is just yummy.

I was driving around trying to find a Mexican restaurant on my GPS. it sent me into a gated community where I didn't feel welcome. Wife said "just stop here at Spin Pizza!" It was late, everything looked busy, the acid had just kicked in so we say screw it and parked the car. As I walked in there were people sitting around on a bench reading menu's as if they were newspapers. They kept flipping through pages of articles but these articles were menu items. Not one looked up at me as they were way into their reading material. As I turned the corner I witnessed a huge fire raging out of a towering oven and a horned man laughed and shoved a pizza in on a pitchfork. He quickly turned around and I tried not to make eye contact in an effort to retain my soul. I got to the podium and quickly tried to get my bearings and told the host, TWO PLEASE in a meek voice. She said "do you know what you're going to order?" I said no I just need to sit down, there was a huge fire and people reading news papers... She said "Sir you need to order first" and then she motions to a wall as tall as the sky withl too many items to count. It had pizza's, salads and sandwiches. I turned to my wife with a look of great fear on my face. My wife asked if there were menu's we could look at? The host motioned towards the newspaper people who had now turned to pillars of salt forever frozen with arms out stretched. I quickly just picked the first sandwiched on the list out of fear of suffering their same fate. My wife picked out a wonderful salad that I could see floating in the air in front of the menu with shiny dressing and crumbles of blue cheese. The Host snapped me back to reality and shouted "What to drink!" I couldn't find where the beverages were on sky menu and asked if I needed binoculars to see? Wife ordered us both waters because this ordering process just wasn't working out so well. Normally I sit down and then figure out how to process a menu. Not the reverse. We took our seats within elbow distance of two adjacent tables. The place was loud with conversation but I couldn't see anyone's lips moving. I closed my eyes and concentrated on beaming my thoughts to the water boy but he never came. I got a refill once our food arrived. The water was so cold it cut through my teeth and froze my insides. I watched the gelato server fling colorful globs out to customers like an octopus doing a Mike Tyson impression. I don't remember anything else.

I really don't understand what the hoop-la is about this place. I've been to this location as well as the one on the Plaza and neither won me over. I "Spun!" my own pizza and maybe it was the toppings I chose (fresh mozz, sausage, and mushrooms) but it simply did not wow me. The flatbread that they give with their salads also tasted awfully stale. Since this location is in a strip mall, parking can be a NIGHTMARE during lunch hours. Final note - NY Pizza will always and forever trump all other pizza in the States. There, I said it.

Specialty pizza is really a dime a dozen. Everybody tries to mix it up with unique toppings or a different type of sauce and usually fail miserably with some overpriced concoction. Spin does a very good job in the specialty pizza department. They have traditional like sausage and pepperoni, but then they have a variety of others. The crust really makes a pizza. This place offers a very tasty, thin, chewy crust. Thin being my favorite unless were talking a pie like a Chicago style. I thought Spin had to do with the act of tossing pizza dough but the restaurant had a bicycle theme. Maybe a double entendre. I don't know. The atmosphere was relaxed, a bit noisy. Young female servers seemed to be the theme on this visit. Good place for pizza. Unique offerings for pizza, salads, and sandwiches and reasonable prices. Spinach salad with goat cheese and candied pecans was excellent. We had two, the funghi and the prosciutto pizzas. They were very good and enough to fill us up. Fun restaurant. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Here's my only gripe with SPIN!: They seem to scrimp on the toppings. I think I prefer the coziness and feel of this strip mall SPIN! to their Olathe location. The interior is painted red and yellow with cool graphics, really tall ceilings with exposed pipes and wood floors and tables. On my visit SPIN! was very busy with large groups but it wasn't loud. I was able to carry a conversation with my dining partner without raising my voice. (Can SPIN! please tell Extra Virgin how to achieve this?) We ordered a 12" pizza half chicken sausage, half BBQ chicken. We each got three slices so cheap dinner for $11.95. I think SPIN! is great for nights I don't feel like cooking.

Different type of pizza. I really liked it

The pizza is about the closest to pizza in Italy that you will find in Kansas. They have a bunch of great choices as to what kind of pizza to get. I've tried a bunch of them and they have all been good. Their salads are equally good, especially the 8 color salad. Very cool atmosphere, cheap prices on wine, and great pizza.

I have had their pizza several times and it seemed better before. It may have been the whole wheat crust it was kind of chewy. The toppings were good but seemed a little sparse and the sauce a little bland. We had the pomodoro with tomato's basil mozzarella not a fan,The olivae carfioffo with olives and artichokes it was just ok. then the tre carni meatballs pepperoni Italian sausage it was good but still light on toppings. The saving grace was the sonoma salad it was great nice mix of flavor with fruit and greens and a vinaigrette dressing that seemed to tie all the flavors together. I'm sure I will have it again and I can update this with a better review.

Spin! Neopolitan Pizza 3 stars Long story short: seemingly popular place, but the pizza was just ok. Long story long: On our last day of our visit in Kansas City back in June, I was craving pizza. Not knowing what places were good for pizza, I blindly chose this place because well, the reviews seemed decent. Walking in, this looks like your atypical chain type of casual restaurant. Another restaurant in which to save themselves a little bit of money in the end, a place where you order your food, sit down with a number and your food is brought out to you. Yes, there is still some service, but not being full service saves them having to pay their employs as much as well as saves in training costs. I eventually decided on the funghi pizza, roasted portabellos and crimini mushrooms with tomato based sauce. I decided to add sausage to my pizza. They have some pizza with a white sauce. My friend got a salad. They have a couple of pastas and sandwiches available as well. We were here during peak lunch hour and this place was busy. I guess that was a good sign. Our food arrived and the pizza looked decent. It was thin crust, and was about the size of what you'd find at CPK. Smelled good. I love mushrooms and my all time favorite pizza is sausage and mushroom. Too bad that's where the goodness seemed to plateau. I dug in and the pizza was just ok. The toppings were alright, but overall, the pizza wasn't anything to write home about. And it's not because I prefer regular crust pizzas. I like thinner crust pizzas just the same, but this one just... I've had better. As a self-proclaimed "burgers and pizza" kind of guy, I feel like I know my pizza. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a chef. I just like food and I love to eat. That's more credibility right there. Don't get me wrong, I still ate it, because I was hungry and it was at least tolerable, but yeah, I've had better and I'm not sure I'd return.

Returned for a group birthday gathering, and my Spin! experience improved, but only slightly. Most importantly, the pizza tasted better--pepperoni and chicken/spinach--and service was quick and friendly. I was let down by the lack of adequate space for our group--we had to sit at two different tables. In addition, there was a big salad mix-up and not everyone received what they ordered. Spin! is fine for a normal, easy lunch, but seek elsewhere for food worth raving about.

On my recent visit to Kansas City, we tried this pizza place for lunch on a cold and cloudy winter day. This, to me is what great pizza can be, especially the thin crust/flat-bread variety, with a slew of delectable toppings to choose from. They know their Pizza! Tried the Melanzane Pizza Bianca and the Mozzarella and Tomato Panini, and was completely impressed by how fresh and good the Melanzane tasted! Too bad I won't get to taste their pizzas more often, but will be sure to try this place each time I will be in the area. Unfortunately, there seems to be no place that serves this type of thin-crust pizza in Walnut Creek, CA.

I really don't think Spin! deserves to have an exclamation point. The pizzas are fine (although, I tried the chicken sausage pizza once and likened the meat to a not-great hot dog). Their pizza seems to me like any other place that tries to appear upscale and expensive (though Spin! isn't terribly spendy), but is generally no better than any other pizza joint. Their salads, on the other hand, are pretty tasty and really fresh. The Sonoma is most definitely worth trying. Goat cheese, grapes, apples, a blood orange vinaigrette. I've heard good things about their flatbreads as well, so I'll probably return to try those. But for a place whose mere namesake purports a really high-quality product that to me isn't superior to its competitors, it's a bit disappointing.

We stopped in here for something to eat before our symphony concert downtown. This was my first visit to this location, and it is a bit hard to find -- it's in the same shopping center as Cheesecake Factory and Whole Foods. The entrance is under a canopy a few stores east of Whole Foods. We actually drove right past it the first time, but spotted it on our second run through! This location is smaller, busier and louder than the Olathe branch that I usually go to. The food was just as good -- we each ordered the "Pizza Mia" specials: mine was with sausage and mushrooms, my partner had a Margherita-type version, but with spinach, I think. The special includes a salad, as well as the 6" individual pizza, and the portions were just right. My Caesar salad was very nice, and I really like the pizza. Since moving back to K.C. from San Francisco I've been under-whelmed by a lot of the pizza here, and especially the sausage, which usually seems to be some industrial product that looks like little pencil erasers (and tastes about the same). Not here -- the sausage was nicely crumbled over the pizza and it was flavorful! I didn't try my partner's food, but it looked good and she was happy with it. We both ended up getting gelato for dessert, which was also very nice. Prices are very reasonable, too -- this is definitely a place to come back to, time and again, at least if you like thin-crust style pizza. Good food and good value -- how can you not love that?

Pizza is thin style, "gourmet". You can get a pepperoni...but, why do that, when there are so many other tasty choices? We started with the Spinach salad. Fresh and delicious. Our pizza was the "Primavera"--peppers, spinach, onions, goat cheese. (Most of) the crust was thin and crispy. The combination of flavors is very good...my only "issue" would be that the center 3" or so of the pie was very soggy. You can also get wine. We had a half liter of their "house" Pino...which is on the dry side, but still nice. Service was very attentive, but not overbearing. Finally, we got to enjoy all of this while sitting on the outdoor patio late on a Sunday afternoon. While I may not rush back, I would definitely visit again.

I'm in town for work, went here for lunch. Had the pizza Mia special (side salad & personal pizza), had the ceasar, and sausage/pepperoni red pizza. I usually have try a basic standard to gauge if its worth going back to maybe try something else. Excellent, buttery crust, flavorful sausage, large, smoky pepperoni. I will definitely be back here! probably during this same work trip, only 2 days long. I have go back to try the gelato- fresh coconut, red raspberry & cream- yum-oh. I'm definitely liking the growing wood-fired pizza scene. If I ever opened a restaurant, it would probably be something similar to this place.

Spin pizza is known for their thin crust, which I love and I decided to give it a try. The first slice of pizza was completely limp, soggy, and there was a puddle of moisture in the center of the serving platter. I have to mention that they were not crowded and we sat for a good 5-10 minutes without touching our food and after watching the waitress come out to the patio several times without checking on us, I finally had to waive her down to get her attention. The waitress completely apologized for the pizza and offered to bring us another pizza at no charge, and I was happy with that resolution. She also brought out the mgr who proceeded to comp both pizzas and gave us a coupon for a free pizza on our next visit. At this point i was very happy with thier efforts to take care of us So we ordered another round of drinks and were told that our pizza would be out in 8 minutes. We managed to finish our drinks at a very casual pace and sat for several minutes without seeing our waitress or pizza. Renee finally got so frustrated that she wanted to leave and I was so hungry that I wasn't going to leave without my pizza. After several more minutes of waiting we got annoyed enough to just leave without our pizza but of course we had our bill and no pen to sign it with. I finally went to the cashier for a pen and When she asked how everything was I explained my obvious frustration and I got a chance to speak to the manager for the second time of the evening. The manager was again very apologetic and comped our entire bill for the night. It turns out Our pizza had been sitting on the counter in a to go box the entire night so we at least had a pizza to take home with us. By the time we got home with the pizza it was almost 10:00 and the time stamp on the ticket from the pizza box read 8:55,we only live 10 minutes from Spin pizza. For a thin crust pizza that had sat in a closed pizza box for an hour, the taste was good but i have no idea if the crust is good. I will try the pizza ONE more time, only because of the coupon for a free pizza on our next visit. I've read so many good reviews of thier thin crust pizza I really hope we just cought them on a bad evening.

I love Spin! Their pizzas are really tasty, and there are many different varieties, so we are always trying new ones. One that we always get, now that we know about it, is the Potate Pizza. It's basically like potato skins-turned-pizza. We love it. If you join their Spin! Club, you get Buy-Two-Get-One-Free pizza every Monday. After 6 visits, you are supposed to get free gelato. After $150 worth of spending on pizza, you are supposed to get $10 to use on pizza later on. I haven't reached these yet since figuring out that I needed to join. I've never eaten at Spin! I always get the pizza to go. The husband wants to eat there at some point so he can drink a bottle of wine while eating his favorite roasted potato pizza.

Spin! has some unique pizza combination's. It is a good change of pace pizza option. They use organic ingredients and offer a gluten-free option. I like the thinner, crispier crust they provide and the portion sizes are perfect for dinner. Give it a try if you want to try a different type of pizza.

Spin is a pizza place with a unique twist. Spin serves thin crust pizza that are different from your traditional pie. It's hard to describe exactly, you'll just have to go and see for yourself. Walking in, you grab a menu and once you've decided, you order at the register and are given a number. There is table seating, booths and a patio space. There is also some creative use of cinder blocks for the walls. The cool thing about Spin other than the unique pizza, is that you can order wine and beer with your dinner. This may seem normal for a restaurant, but the emphasis is on wine, which to me seemed unique to a pizza place. The night to go is Monday, where they have a $1 corking fee, which means you can bring your own wine and drink it with your meal for only $1, you can't lose!

Visiting Overland Park and literally stumbled across this place. GREAT decor and ambiance. The open kitchen and bar seating really make you feel like you're a part of your meal being cooked. Prompt service and a menu that won't quit - so much to choose from that it's almost staggering. The key to good pizza is in the sauce. Crust is a close second, and toppings top off the list. Spin does a great job on fresh toppings and crust, but the sauce is from a can - regardless of this fact, the end product comes out great (this can sauce refers to their red sauce. The white sauce is made from scratch and wonderful). Their claim to fame is their crust, and they don't disappoint. Regardless of what pie you get, this will be a good experience for you. Check out the sinks in their bathroom - very cool and adds to the decor.

The ambiance was good although better if the air conditioner was working. I may have had overrated reviews for this restaurant thats why I was expecting more. The hummus was not the traditional hummus that I know. Pizza's toppings were all sliding off the crust. The idea of having roasted cherry tomatoes was such a great idea flavor and texture wise.

After a surprise snow day, some of my co-workers and I met at Spin! I have to say, I had been driving by this place for months hoping to eat there sometime. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they didn't just serve pizza but salads and sandwiches as well. I enjoyed a good beer too, served by a cute bartender. The atmosphere was definitely fun and exciting. I really like their lights and booth tables. I like when you can see where your food is being cooked, it makes me trust them with my food a little more. However, when we chose to move to a table, our waitress was not quite as attentive. We had to wait and wait for our check and refills. I enjoyed my 5 cheese pizza and salad. The crust was really good and the food was very fresh. I would recommend giving it a try...it was worth it.

You know what I love about Spin? There's not a single bad choice on the menu. What are you having? Anything, it's all good. Crisp salads, tasty soups, and creatively topped pizzas on crusts that are the perfect combination of chewy and crispy. Love. It.

There isn't much about spin that could go wrong in my opinion! I am a pizza freak and this hits the spot every time; thin crust, unexpected flavor mixes, its a pretty experience all over for me. I always forget the name of my favorite pizza but if you are looking for some "gourmet" type pizza this is a fantastic place to go; also a great place to take out of guests from out of town!

This place it great! My family and I went and got the pizza mia, which is a personal pizza and a side salad. The spinach salad is amazing! They also have gelato. The kids meal comes with a token for a free kids gelato.

If you haven't tried the salads at Spin!, you're missing out on half of what makes this place great. I tried Spin! the first time for the pizza, but fell in love with the spinach salad that's been my favorite since. The spinach they use is much more flavorful and healthy than lettuce. The combination of these deep greens with grape tomatoes, caramelized onions, glazed pecans and goat cheese is utterly delicious. And if you're in the mood, you can add oven-roasted chicken, which is shredded and served in a little dome on the sea of red and green. The flat bread that comes with Spin! salads is great too, if inconsistently served. Oh yeah, and the pizza's pretty good too.

I heart Spin pizza. One of my favorite nights out is with the dog and the boy at Spin, sitting on the patio with a nicely priced bottle of Yard dog white wine, a yummy " 8 color" salad with.....the best cucumber ranch dressing (! yes please!) and a flatbread "Patate" pizza--roasted potato, bacon, scallion and goat cheese!!. After a great evening is nice to lick on some dark chocolate gelato with marshmellows, mmmmmmm doesn't get better than that! Spin! has great and unique vegetarian options and a fun "spin" on pizza combinations and funky salads and all wines are under $18 a bottle!! YUM-O!

This place is great, much better then going to a chain for pizza. LOVE the wood fired pizza's, but salads stand up equally good. It is also nice to be able to enjoy your food on the patio. Tastes fresh and full of flavor!! Good choice out South. :)

This is a great pizza place. The first time I went there, I was with a large group including some babies. You usually have to go up and order at the counter Panera style, but the staff intercepted us at the door, took us to the tables and got us menus. So while I'm on that topic, the service stayed that good, very impressive. The food is very solid too. The only real reason I gave Spin! four stars is that I am not a fan of thin crust/light sauce pizza, but I still really enjoy the food. The flat breads were also really good. I still need to try the non-pizza options, there could be something there that makes this a 5 star for me. If the weather is nice, there is also a little sidewalk area that is great to eat in. It is between two buildings so there is always a little airflow going through, but I've never seen it really windy, even on a fairly windy day.

consistently good pizzas here. quick turning tables, waits are never long, nice outside seating during good weather. we've had a few of their pizzas and each has been good. The Caesar salad is really good and big. Great for the kids, small pizzas, drink and gelato - nothing makes kids eat dinner faster than the promise of ice cream after dinner.

Spin! is one of those new, trendy kind of restaurants that tries to cater to 20 and 30-somethings and convince them that they are doing something unique. What Spin! does is a take on Neapolitan pizza, but it is not authentic Neapolitan, nor is it that good. First, they use gas ovens instead of wood-fired brick ovens which imparts a very different flavor and texture to the crust than a gas oven. Both the taste and texture of their pizza are forgettable. As for the service, I agree with another poster who thought it was severely lacking (at least at their Olathe location). I have given Spin! two chances and I won't be back. Good, authentic neapolitan pizza can be done well even in the Midwest, and even in a trendy setting (see RedRossa in Clive, IA), but not at Spin!.

The food is really good. I like the sonoma salad and I alway do the mia your way, half a salad and a small pizza. My friend loved the 8 color salad. There is a lot of choice and everything is fresh. Love fresh.

Vegetarians delight! There is food for you! Meat eaters rejoice! There are plenty of options to support your carnivorous lifestyle. No matter which side of the spectrum you fall on the Sonoma salad will be one of the best salads you ever eat! The Panini's are just as good as the pizza so open your mind and don't just go for the pizza. The only reason I am knocking off points is because I have never gone when the restaurant was 'nice and clean'. There is almost always some sticky 'gunk' on the table. And although I still tip my standard 20% while I am there, I don't understand why. The waitress doesn't take our order or our money... but I know I am still supposed to tip her for filling our drinks. Thanks but I would rather go to a drink fill station and have a runner bring out my food and save my $4...but that's just me.

So...do you like California Pizza Kitchen?? We'll go there instead if you want more options and more flavor. It was quick and light if that's what you want. The only reason I gave it a 3 star rating was for the people watching, especially if you want to see the Real Housewives of Johnson County..OMG. The decor is modern/industrial which doesn't really go with the type of food their serving, not sure what would though. All in all, overrated.

My company has often ordered Spin! pizza for large meetings and such. I love the thin crust, but even more than that, I love that they cut the pizza in squares rather than slices. It's just so much easier to eat that way. I'd never been in a Spin! until just today for lunch. In fact, I had no idea there's one about a mile from my job and another one about a mile from my house! I've been living under a rock, apparently. This is now one of my favorite pizza places, because though the pizza is great, the other offerings are amazing. I got to try a little bit of all my co-workers' orders and everything was delicious. The mini pizzas they offer for lunch are the perfect size, and a small salad or soup is included with the price. Plus, you can choose any of the seven salads they offer. I ordered the turkey and asiago panini. Roasted sliced turkey, Italian bacon, asiago cheese, caramelized onions, roasted grape tomatoes, pesto mayo. Delicious. Seriously. My greek salad was good, too. The co-workers all ordered pizza: pepperoni, margherita, spinach/garlic. All good. And service was quick, too. You order your meals, you're given a number and then your server brings food out later. Our server was attentive and kept filling drinks even after the table was cleared and we were camping. Good tip for him. I'm so going back to this place.

Spin Pizza is an excellent choice for a thin crust pizza with extraordinary toppings and combos of toppings. My favorite pizza here, so far, is the Cipolla and Chevre which has fig jam, onions and goat cheese. Really decadent, like the others that I have tried like the spinach and garlic, and the margherita pizza. The salads are also good, they use high quality toppings. The environment here is conducive to the food. You place your order and then sit down and a waiter brings you your drinks and food. The atmosphere is relax with a wear house feel to it with exposed pipes and all. The gelato sounds good, but I am always too full to try it.

This was a nice surprise. Took our two boys there before a SMS Football game. The boys are serious pizza critics and hard to please. They both loved it. For my part I loved it too. It's a solid pizza place to add to a rotation that includes Waldo Pizza and Minsky's.

I recently ate at the new second location on Main St and found the pizza very greasy. Nice outside dining area though. Would like to try their salads.

The pizza is admittedly delicious but a way over-priced for the size of the pie. For a bigger bang for your buck I would suggest Pizza Fusion on 135th. It's all organic and all natural with a choice of a wheat crust and the pizza is about twice the size of Spin.

Very good pizza with a nice casual atmosphere! The pizza is Neapolitan style and there is a good selection of non-traditional toppings. I had pepperoni, Italian bacon and meatball. The toppings were very flavorful. I will be back next time I am in town!

I wish there wa a good Neapolitan style pizza place in or near Glen Ellyn. If you are ever in K.C. (not know for their pizza), stop by Spin. It is super kid friendly and the pizza is fantastic. I think they are currently opening 1 or 2 new locations. Having lived in Chicago, I feel confident that I can intelligently discern good pizza from bad. Spin is good, very good. Great deals on lunch by the way, though it can get crowded at that time.

Spin! offers a great variety of thin-crust pizzas with salads and soups on the side. Even small pizzas for lunch and for kids. My personal favorite is the pepperoni pizza, but don't be fooled... it's unlike any other pizza-joint pepperoni pizza. I love to pair it with a Caesar salad topped with the sliced roasted chicken.
(5)

Really good. My partner is a picky east coast pizza eater and Spin is the only place we go out for pizza. The staff is always nice and accomodating for kids, groups, and so on and the pizza and salads are consistently good.

This place is perfect for a right-sized little lunch that satisfies. Their pizza mia deal let's you pick any pizza and any salad/soup combo you want for under $9. Their thin gourmet personal pizzas are always well seasoned and hot out of the wood-fired oven and the salads are unique and tasty. They also have really good hummus appetizers and gelato for dessert! It's cool industrial-decor interior is fun and hip, but still warm and inviting. Whenever we've called in orders at work, they are made quickly and in time for pickup, and they actually get all the combos right so everyone gets what they want! I can't think of anything bad! Go here!

Since I'm not a big fan of thin crust pizza, it's hard to say it was great. The pizza was good and we had flat bread appetizers were bit overcooked. The only strange thing was ordering process. They want you to order before you sit down but they will allow you to take menus to table. It's got a casual kind of fast food feel. Since the pizza's are fire baked, I'm guessing they take a bit longer and don't want people to wait. But it's still strange. The wait staff was friendly and we didn't have any problems and they were attentive.

While it looks like a simple, casual and friendly place, the real focus at Spin is quality. In a town where good Caesar salad is easy to find, Spin's is a standout for freshness and olive oil that tastes like excellent olive (tho, as with most, sadly lacking in anchovy). All the salads have unique touches and are pristinely fresh. The pizzas toppings are carefully prepared and full of flavor. The thin pizza crust is crisp and perfect. The service is friendly and efficient: just try to drain your soft drink before a replacement arrives! They have a reasonably priced and well chosen wine selection, which in itself puts them at the head of the pizza class. And, at least on the Kansas side, you can bring your own bottle of wine for a very reasonable corkage, an enlightened policy that more restaurants should emulate. Finally, the bicycle-themed decor is witty. Look for the hanging light fixtures based on a bicycle gear cluster. In my book, no other pizza place gets more than 2 stars: Spin fully deserves all 4.

Very, very good. I couldn't agree with Kristen S. more. Located right across from the Sprint Campus and a few doors down from the Wild Oats Market. The handmade thin crust pizzas are excellent -- don't look for canned pineapple and ham here. It's all about the freshest and simplest ingredients. The service was incredibly friendly and fast; I was impressed by the staff. The outdoor patio is a great place to while away a warm summer afternoon or perhaps have a sweet first date.

I will agree with both. Spin is fresh and always good. The people behind 40 Sardines and Michael Smith consult, so that explains some of the greatness behind the menu. One thing I still don't care for is the pay up front, then pay again if you order more deal. Kind of strange. Just take the order and pay for everything all at once. Much simpler.

My second favorite pizza place on the planet is Spin. Delicious authentic Italian pizza baked in a brick oven. Very fresh ingredients, including fresh herbs. Delicious variety of toppings and choice of pizza rossa (tomato sauce ) or pizza bianca (olive oil). Excellent salads and even excellent gelato!!! (Gelato is very hard to find in this town.) At lunch you can get a mini-pizza and salad combo, what a deal!

LOVE this place. It is SO good and yummy. Always fresh and tasty. Mmmmm!!!

Rather disappointed. Pizza was good enough but the service sucked. Had to go to the counter for additional service after 15 minutes and our waiter actually ignored me. The staff was all standing around talking and there were dirty tables, the restaurant was empty. Gelato was marginal at best. Tasted like it had been thawed and refroze, crystalized.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(5)Steve D.

(3)Clare S.
(4)Bruce M.
Man I know how to pick restaurants. This place was amazing from the food and drinks to the service. Recommend this place to all real pizza lovers
(5)Shane W.
(3)Micah C.
Spin! is one of the best pizza joints in Kansas City, offering creative but delicious pizzas and salads you won't find at any other restaurant in the area.

(3)Jack D.

Love this place! Food is flavorful, served quickly with the staff being very friendly! We come from St Louis frequently with a stop here for dinner a must each time.
(5)Amy B.
Had SPIN for the first time- it was delish!! The staff was friendly and the service was great! I wish they would open one in DFW!!
(4)Bryn C.
(4)Tim T.
Spin is in my families regular rotation, solid pizza, salads, gelato and great that they offer $0 corkage during the week for BYOB.
(4)Brenda D.
(4)Kay L.

(5)Devin B.
(3)Josh B.
(4)Beth B.
(4)Anne M.
One of our favorite places to stop in for a fast casual meal. Spin Club Members get great perks/points. I usually get the Mini Mia which is any salad and small pizza. I love the spinach salad!
(4)Steffon C.
I had forgotten what good food Spin has. We had the 3 meat pizza and added mushrooms, yummy. The crust is to die for. The best part was our server Molly. Such a nice young lady! Great suggestions perfect service and a nice personality. We'll be back!
(4)Caroline L.
(3)Amanda L.
The lunch special is a great deal! The pizza was thin crust and crispy and the perfect size for one. Free wifi and comfy seats so perfect for a working lunch.
(4)Jordan B.
I definitely won't be waiting another 2 years before hitting up SPIN! again.
(4)Annie C.
In town for work so needed a quick somewhat healthy bite. This place was a great option. The soup and salad were filling and light. The pizza was not the greatest but still had flavor. The wine options were quick and easy tasty but inexpensive. The place had a good vibe and was very clean
(4)Hannah M.
(5)Christopher O.
(4)Caleb L.
(4)Pam T.
I tried Spin for the first time as lunch with my coworkers. The employees did a very good job with being attentive to the customers during the rush hour and our food came within a decent amount of time after ordering :) The food was delish. I'll definitely be back!
(5)Amy R.
SPIN! really never disappoints.
(4)Sahil K.
Decent Pizza. The order process could improve - maybe make it less confusing by not saying that everything is good :) Service is good.
(4)Audrey H.
Zagat rating 27... Pizza place, pay at the count.... WTF? IT'S TRUE!!!!!! SPIN is the bomb diggity!!! Absolutely excellent most certainly as good as it gets!!!
(5)Laurel S.
(4)Robert H.
This SPIN restaurant in Overland Park always provides the best customer service and wonderful Spin Pizza. The place has a cool vibe to it.
(5)Stuti J.
A must go!
(5)Jessica H.
Gluten free pep pizza was so good, you would never know it was made with different ingredients.
(4)Stephen H.
(4)Beth B.
(4)Joe H.
(2)Reed N.
Redemption is a beautiful thing... especially if I am eating it! The Sonoma salad and the personal Pollo Arrosto pizza where fabulous and we had about 37 servers. ; ) I love the crusts... always have. This time everything else was good, too!
(4)Jordan W.
(5)Rhonda S.

(4)Paul M.
Good place to get pizza! Lot of choices, enjoyable.
(3)Matt H.
Different type of pizza. I really liked it
(4)Chad B.
(4)Vince P.

(3)Lauren S.
(3)Snowy W.
(5)Michelle B.

(4)Steve A.
(4)G C.
Moved here from Philly, this is the next best thing I've found here in KC. Friendly staff and good food. Definitely be back.
(4)William B.

(5)Jeanean M.
Best gluten free pizza I've ever had...everything was fresh and delicious. Jason is a rock star he made our experience excellent
(5)Annie C.
Great pizza, even better sangria!
(5)Grant H.
Spin! has some unique pizza combination's. It is a good change of pace pizza option. They use organic ingredients and offer a gluten-free option. I like the thinner, crispier crust they provide and the portion sizes are perfect for dinner. Give it a try if you want to try a different type of pizza.
(4)Adam C.
(3)Sarah R.
Super yummy! Always great food, yummy wine and great atmosphere. Wheat potato pizza is the best...Large patio which was full because of the beautiful day.
(4)Aaron A.
(4)Jack F.
(2)Anna H.
what can I say? WOW, best pizza in town. My husband have been in Italy 8 times and says I tastes almost the same. very nice place to go.
(5)Larissa S.
(4)Michelle F.
You know what I love about Spin? There's not a single bad choice on the menu. What are you having? Anything, it's all good. Crisp salads, tasty soups, and creatively topped pizzas on crusts that are the perfect combination of chewy and crispy. Love. It.
(4)Amanda F.
(5)Scott K.
This place it great! My family and I went and got the pizza mia, which is a personal pizza and a side salad. The spinach salad is amazing! They also have gelato. The kids meal comes with a token for a free kids gelato.
(5)Samantha A.
(4)Kelly L.
YUM-O!
(5)jennifer j.
This place is great, much better then going to a chain for pizza. LOVE the wood fired pizza's, but salads stand up equally good. It is also nice to be able to enjoy your food on the patio. Tastes fresh and full of flavor!! Good choice out South. :)
(4)Erik R.
(4)S M.
consistently good pizzas here. quick turning tables, waits are never long, nice outside seating during good weather. we've had a few of their pizzas and each has been good. The Caesar salad is really good and big. Great for the kids, small pizzas, drink and gelato - nothing makes kids eat dinner faster than the promise of ice cream after dinner.
(4)Collin F.
Spin! is one of those new, trendy kind of restaurants that tries to cater to 20 and 30-somethings and convince them that they are doing something unique. What Spin! does is a take on Neapolitan pizza, but it is not authentic Neapolitan, nor is it that good.
(2)A N.
The food is really good. I like the sonoma salad and I alway do the mia your way, half a salad and a small pizza. My friend loved the 8 color salad. There is a lot of choice and everything is fresh. Love fresh.
(5)Lea K.
(4)Tricia K.
(3)Ashley P.
(4)Krista N.
(5)Kevin M.
This was a nice surprise. Took our two boys there before a SMS Football game. The boys are serious pizza critics and hard to please. They both loved it. For my part I loved it too. It's a solid pizza place to add to a rotation that includes Waldo Pizza and Minsky's.
(4)Mary H.
I recently ate at the new second location on Main St and found the pizza very greasy. Nice outside dining area though. Would like to try their salads.
(2)Ayla G.
The pizza is admittedly delicious but a way over-priced for the size of the pie. For a bigger bang for your buck I would suggest Pizza Fusion on 135th. It's all organic and all natural with a choice of a wheat crust and the pizza is about twice the size of Spin.
(3)Marty R.
Very good pizza with a nice casual atmosphere! The pizza is Neapolitan style and there is a good selection of non-traditional toppings. I had pepperoni, Italian bacon and meatball. The toppings were very flavorful. I will be back next time I am in town!
(4)Roxanne A.
Had dinner there on a Tuesday evening and it was nice to sit outside and hear live music. (There was a guy playing guitar) The food was good, it was my first time there and we had pizza with apples and pecans and chicken.. yum! Service was good too.
(4)Alex S.
(5)Vaughn E.
Spin! offers a great variety of thin-crust pizzas with salads and soups on the side. Even small pizzas for lunch and for kids. My personal favorite is the pepperoni pizza, but don't be fooled... it's unlike any other pizza-joint pepperoni pizza. I love to pair it with a Caesar salad topped with the sliced roasted chicken.
(5)Charles R.
Really good. My partner is a picky east coast pizza eater and Spin is the only place we go out for pizza. The staff is always nice and accomodating for kids, groups, and so on and the pizza and salads are consistently good.
(5)Briana O.
Go here!
(5)Mary D.
Vegan options. Fresh veggies. Good wines.

Good thin crust pizza. I think we got a split fungi/sausage pizza. As others have said, there's a focus on fresh ingredients. Nice interior/atmosphere. Haven't tried anything else yet.

Can't beat the quick service with great pizza and quite the selection. Go early and beat the crowd. It has been consistent over the years!

In my book, no other pizza place gets more than 2 stars: Spin fully deserves all 4.

the ceaser salad and neapolitan pizza are the best.
